If you go to THE DOG's official website, you will see a "download" link. There you can download wallpaper and screen savers for your computer. If you notice the "log in" button at the bottom. Click it and type in:
Username: thedog
Password: lovethedog

By doing so, you will unlock a matching game and some more wallpapers!

There was a background with a THE DOG beagle clock, but I guess they removed it. Howver if you really want it, there are many sites that have a code for it. try it!
